Software maker secretly sold children's chats to marketers, NY AG says

Software maker secretly sold children's chats to marketers, NY AG saysIt is not only the amount of money that Echometrix made by selling children's private communications and information to advertisers. The fact that they were scanning private communications is itself a privacy violation - a serious one.
I will press the FTC to take federal action here as well, and hope that class action lawyers succeed in making sure that echometrix is an example to any company that even thinks about violating privacy of our children and families.
