The Communications Decency Act limits a service provider's liability for what is posted or what actions are taken on their site that they have not intended or controlled. And, in the US, we do not require that bystanders take action to help others when they need help. But morally, someone should have done something. is a new company that advises web 2.0 businesses how to deal with situations like a user threatened or webcast suicide.
